24 million people need our help!
One of the largest humanitarian crises in the world is currently happening in Yemen.
According to the UN, 150 children under the age of 5 died every day in Yemen in 2017 due to lack of access to food and medicine.
That’s nearly 50,000 dead children in less than 12 months. In subsequent years, the numbers are likely to be even worse.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the situation continues to worsen. One of the biggest problems is the lack of food. Approximately 2 million children under the age of 5 suffer from malnutrition. Half of the health care system has been destroyed since the conflict began 5 years ago. People in Yemen are dying from various diseases such as cholera, dengue fever, malaria, …
Because of this situation we see it as our duty to support the people in Yemen even more!
