Swiss Barakah Charity is heavily involved in making education accessible to all, because we know how important it is for the future. Unfortunately, many children cannot benefit from it.

That’s why, as part of our commitment to the right to education for all, we have set up “Education Month”, an initiative to raise awareness and mobilise support for better education for all children in different countries.

Our actions take several forms: we help schools by renovating them and providing pupils with the necessary equipment, such as school bags, exercise books and pens for children in Africa. We also ensure that every child who needs a uniform gets one. In some schools, we also install solar panels to promote the use of more sustainable energy, as in the case of Syrian refugees in Lebanon. In addition, we provide computers to enable pupils in Albania to access digital educational resources. In Sri Lanka, as part of our Barakah Academy, we have set up computer and design courses for women.

In Switzerland, as part of our social project, we offer French and German language course support to immigrant women, facilitating their integration into local society.

Through these measures, our aim is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their goals and build a promising future. Equitable education for all remains at the heart of our mission for a fairer and more prosperous society.
