    Your Zakat Makes the Difference!

After prayer, the performance of zakat is the greatest obligatory ibadah (worship) of a Muslim. It is an established right of its recipients:

“The alms are only for the poor, the needy, those who are busy, those whose hearts are to be made familiar, (the ransom of) slaves, the indebted in the way of Allah, and (for) the son of the way as an obligation from Allah. Allah is All-Knowing and All-Wise” (Surah Al Tauba verse 60)

Swiss Barakah Charity uses your Zakat for the first three groups:

    • the poor
    • the needy
    • those who are engaged in it

Your zakat is taken up for the zakat-eligible programs for the benefit of the poor and needy, thus making a difference!
