The last 10 days of Ramadan (March 21–March 30) are a sacred time for increased worship, as they include Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Power), a night better than a thousand months in rewards.
Zakat al-Fitr for Switzerland
The local council of Ulama in Zurich has set the Zakat al-Fitr amount at a minimum of 15 CHF per person. It must be given before the Eid al-Fitr prayer to ensure that those in need can celebrate the holiday.
